Abstract:
This study aimed to know the level of psychological stresses among hypertensive patient in relation with some variables in Khartoum north locality and Omdurman locality. The researcher used the descriptive methodology .The sample of this study consisted of ( 100) hypertensive , ( 33 ) males (67) females from the health center in Khartoum state the researcher used strafed random sample . The hypertensive patient which is prepared from the stresses scale for diabetics by Gasem Almrzogi The statistic approaches used by the researcher are . 1- T – test for one sample 2- T – test to compare to different sample 3- person correlation coefficient 4- One – way analysis of variance ( ANOVA ) The results showed that : 1- The hypertensive patient are suffering medium level of psychological stresses 2- There is significant difference in psychological stresses due to gender favorite for males 3- There is significant difference in psychological stresses due to social status . 4- No correlation has been found between psychological stresses and educational level 5- No correlation has been found between psychological stresses and the age . 6- No correlation has been found between psychological stresses and duration of the illness The researcher concluded by recommendation , the most important one is that , medical department should include behavioral psychotherapy and counseling units specially for psycho somatic patient
