ABSTRACT Research's Title: The Relationship among the students' violence and some of the psychological and cultural variables of a sample of secondary school students of Holy Makkah city. The research's aims: This research aims to identify the relationship between the students' violence and some of the psychological variables (Anxiety and Self-Assessment), social variables (the social and cultural standards) of a secondary school students in the city of Holy Makkah. In addition, the research is looking for the causes of the violated behaviors according to the students' views, studying the differences of the highly violated and low violated students according to the violation measurements applied on the samples and according to the following variables: anxiety, self-assessment, social and cultural variables. The Research's method: The research uses the analytical descriptive method, applying the four measurements on a sample of (353) students of the secondary schools of Holy Makkah. The Research's Instruments: - The violence measurement prepared by Researcher Zaynab Shokayr (2005). - The anxiety measurement, as a part of the applied measurements in Taif psychological Health hospital, prepared by Al-Dailam et a el (1413). - The self-assessment measurement prepared by Al-Derani et a el (without date) and applied by Al-A'abed (2002). - The social and cultural standard Saudi application, prepared by Mansy (without date).
The most important findings: - Ascending sort of the violence causes according to the secondary school students in the city of Holy Makkah, as the indirect causes of violence. - The statistical significances among the violence limits and the anxiety, self-assessment among the secondary school students in the city of Holy Makkah. - There is statistical significance between the highly violated and the lower violated groups in behave of the highly violated ones in the limits of violence, its factors, the anxiety and self assessment standards. - There is no correlation coefficient among the violence limits and factors, and the social, cultural, and general social cultural standards of the secondary school students in the city of Holy Makkah. - There is statistical significance among the highly and lower standard of violence in behave of the higher standard violence students in their cultural standards. - There is no statistical significance in the violence limits, and its factors in one hand, and the anxiety, social, cultural, social cultural standards of the secondary school students in the city of Holy Makkah according to their ages. However, there is a statistical difference of the group 15 – 16 years old compared with the 19 years group, and for the 17 – 18 years old group
